Remarks:
The IBM PS/2 model 35 was announced on 11jun91 and features an 80386sx processor running at 20mhz. This machine uses the ISA bus and was IBM's first machine to do so. The model 35 is similar to the model 40 except for only having 3 slots rather than 5. The model 35 also has an identical case to the PS/2 model 9556 which came later. The BIOS supports a 2.88 floppy drive, but only comes with a 1.44 drive. An interesting feature of the model 35 is the ability to change the boot sequence. The unit shown above has 4 meg of memory and an ISA modem installed. The 80 meg hard drive has been compressed and the computer runs PC DOS 7 and windows 3.1. When the computer was available, prices ranged from $1,310 to 1,840.
