This little laptop was purchased for only $5 complete with A/C adaptor. It's basically an IBM XT type laptop. DOS is preloaded into ROM and has CGA graphics capability. Even though it has a hard drive indicator light, rumours suggest that it does not have one. The A/C adaptor provides 6 or 9 volts, depending on battery charge status. It also features a carrying handle, locking tab for a padlock, and a place to install an option modem module. Another unique feature is the dual-hinged spring loaded LCD which allows it to be folded back 180 degrees. Unfortunately, one of the components on the computer's power supply board is defective, rendering the machine inoperative. Luckily though, there are FAQs available which address this seemingly common issue.
