Model Number:
Serial Number: E0451PHM0435LL/A
Manufacturer: Apple Computer
Acquired: Fall 1999
Current status: Excellent condition. Complete and working.
Remarks:
The Mac Classic was produced some time after the original 'toaster' form factor was discontinued when the Mac II series came out. Actually, the Classic is very close in design to an SE. The main differences are a redesigned case that looks a bit more streamlined, a standard high density drive which was standard only on the Mac SE FDHD models. Also, the Classic's memory can be maxed out to 6 megabytes rather than the SE's 4 meg limit. Processor and computing speed and the small 9 inch black and white screen are the same between the models. The Classic featured here is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition with no discolouration. It has a 40 meg drive and has been upgraded to the maximum memory configuration of 6 meg.
