Macintosh IIsi

Mac IIci

Manufacturer: Apple Computer
Machine Type: IIsi
Model Number:
Serial Number: FC2130R3C53
Current Status: Complete and working
Acquired: Aug 1999
Remarks:
The IIsi model is a bit different than the previous II models. Not only is the case smaller and more streamlined, NuBus cards won't install vertically like they did before. An adaptor is required and yet only one card can be installed. Also, there is only 1 ADB port instead of two like previous models. Due to some internal changes, the IIci is actually faster than this IIsi model. This particular model has 17meg and a 340 meg hard drive running 7. 1. Also shown is the Macintosh colour display which finally included a built-in swivel stand. Also pictured is the Apple extended keyboard which has an IBM style layout, a desktop bus mouse II and a Hayes Acura 28.8 which allows for slow, but reasonable web acess on this Mac. The discolouration on the front of the CPU is due to the removal of some asset tags which shows the machine to be quite dirty even though it's not very obvious.
