Mac 512k

Manufacturer: Apple Computer
Machine Type: Macintosh 512k
Model Number: M0001E
Serial Number: F6171H8
Current Status: Working
Acquired: n/a
Remarks:
The Macintosh 512 is the second model in the Macintosh line. It uses a MC68000 CPU running at 7.8336 MHz. It has 32bit internal registers and a 24bit address bus. No coprocessor is supported on this model. It has 64k of ROM and has 512k of RAM which is not upgradeable. The Mac 512 also has no hardware memory management and no slot expansion. The sound comes from a RAM based mono sound buffer. The 512 uses a 400k floppy drive and supports the same type drive externally. The Apple HD20 can also be used, which is a 20meg external hard drive which attaches to the floppy connector. The 9inch display provides a black and white image at 512x342 pixels. The Mac keyboard attaches with a RJ-11 connector to the front of the computer and the mouse connects on the back via a DB9 connection. This is a complete and working standard 512k model. It's missing the original keyboard cable. I have system disks as well as Macpaint and Macdraw which came with the computer.
